-
Action 2: 45 participants at each event (representatives from networks employer, educational organization, work experience organization, social economy organization, communication network
-
Action 3: Large final event 200 participants
-
Action 4: 10 short films made by partners, 1 web Platform, 1 publication (digital and 250 copies printed).
The STEPS cluster (soft skills training enabling progression and sustainability) consists of 9 partners who were all involved in the 2 seas projects SUCCES, iLAEBOR (Pro Work involved) and Crysalis. The three projects are complementary and achieved successful results in the area of soft skills training; they enabled people distant from the labor market to develop the necessary personal and job skills to gain better access to the labor market, training, and/or volunteering. Soft skills are indispensable and enable people to take control of their own lives, communicate effectively, and improve their personal living conditions. Unlike hard skills, which are required for the correct performance of a specific task, soft skills are broadly applicable.
STEPS partners collaborate around the most effective methods to engage, support and educate different audiences. Both practitioners and policy makers are involved in disseminating information. This is to convince all stakeholders of the benefits of soft skills training for the unemployed in general, as well as for their own operations. The focus will be on identifying and disseminating the various best practices tested in the projects. Soft skills will be identified as the pathway to further training, volunteering and employment. Each partner will organize regional preparation events and workshops aimed at the cluster's target audience (professionals and policy makers). Two cross-border practical workshops will also be organized -focused on professionals- to exchange good practices, share and discuss different tools and prepare a high-quality cross-border soft skills conference to disseminate the results of the projects and the STEPS cluster.
