GOALS:
This project was initiated in response to the following factors: rising youth unemployment; large numbers of young people without basic qualifications; technical training programs with very high dropout rates; insufficient alignment between educational pathways (lack of a comprehensive programmatic approach); and legal restrictions that prevent (at-risk) young people from receiving exclusively practice-oriented training, as well as a lack of attractive technical education.
