RESULTS:

Transfer innovative methods and techniques for low-cost ways of certification that provides a progressive route to the EQF;

Creating better understanding for designing methods for assessing competency-based qualifications for learning outcomes of mainly learners with learning disabilities.

Testing and evaluating the attractiveness of outcome-based qualifications for learners with disabilities in relation to the following vocationally-oriented subjects: Clean room processing, order picker, Facilities services, Catering, Safe working / Workplace safety, Packaging, 'Green' jobs, Construction;

Provide support for an (EQF-supported) MBO e-learning programme for SEN learners based on ECVET (European Classification for Vocational Educational Training) principles;

Less barrier to formal qualifications for SEN learners, especially those with disabilities.
CAUSE:
De behoefte aan een internationale standaard voor het certificeren van studenten met speciale onderwijsbehoeften (o.a. gehandicapt) in het MBO.
GOALS:

Ensuring a focus on transparency for all skills, making them easy to read and compare

for different target groups;

Supporting credit accumulation and transfer for preparatory vocational education;

Increasing the extent to which SEN certification (Special Educational Needs certification) can be aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)

Supporting personal development through greater opportunities for certification and by lowering the barriers to entry for EQF-referenced qualifications for at-risk groups

Fostering a more competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy by promoting integration

Engaging businesses that can support the further development of certification for learners with special educational needs
