IMFS

YEAR:
2012 - 2014
(In My Father's Shoes).

RESULTS:
-
Better communication between different generations;
-
Better communication in another language to learn to communicate better internationally as well;
-
Improving ICT skills of mainly the older generation;
-
Teaching social skills, self-assurance, self-esteem, respect, motivation for education/work, active participation in the social environment and education in general;
-
Ensuring improvement of the situation in partner countries regarding social and economic insecurities.

REASON:
There is increasing distance between generations, the so-called generation gaps are expanding. This creates limited communication between young and old, especially when talking about people with lower incomes, migrants, older people who are alone, young people without education or work etcetera. And therefore it is necessary to connect them with each other and thus reduce the generation gap.
GOALS:
It is necessary for young and old people to learn to better understand, respect, cooperate and share their knowledge. To achieve this, understanding of each other's lifeworlds will need to be cultivated, and this will be central to this project in various forms.
